eSentire, a Top 250 MSSP and Top 40 MDR security company, is partnering with Kterio to protect healthcare, industrial and real estate organizations against cyberattacks, the companies announced.

Together, eSentire and Kterio will evaluate critical infrastructure organizations' risks across traditional threat vectors and building infrastructure, the businesses said. They also will help these organizations find ways to reduce cyber risk and prevent business disruptions.

What eSentire and Kterio Offer

eSentire provides exposure management, managed detection and response (MDR) and incident response services. It leverages an open eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform, threat hunting and generative artificial intelligence to help organizations "anticipate, withstand and recover from cyberattacks," the company said.

Kterio offers the Kterio OS smart building operating system, which uses machine learning and AI to deliver portfolio-, site- and equipment-level reporting, benchmarking and asset visualization, the company said. That way, Kterio OS users can find ways to reduce their energy consumption and capital expenses.

What the Future Holds for eSentire and Kterio

eSentire and Kterio are poised to launch a full-scale solution to support teams responsible for managing critical infrastructure organizations' physical sites, the companies said.

In addition, eSentire and Kterio will explore joint service offerings designed to help critical infrastructure organizations enhance their cyber resilience and increase their attack surface visibility across their operational controls, the companies noted.

eSentire Bolsters Its MDR Portfolio

The Kterio partnership comes after eSentire in August 2023 introduced a new MDR Agent at the Black Hat USA conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. This agent is expected to be generally available in October 2023.

eSentire's new MDR Agent utilizes deep learning technology to block 99% of known and unknown threats, the company said. It can be used in conjunction with eSentire's MDR service for threat detection, prevention, investigation and response.

More than 2,000 organizations globally use eSentire's managed security services to protect their data and applications. eSentire also offers the e3 partner ecosystem for MSSPs, MSPs and VARs.
