ID Agent, a dark web monitoring and identity theft protection solutions provider, has released the BullPhish ID phishing simulator and security awareness training platform for managed service providers (MSPs). BullPhish ID blends real world social engineering attacks and video-based training to help organizations educate their employees about cyberattacks.
MSPs can use BullPhish ID to simulate phishing attacks against an organization's employees, according to ID Agent. They also can offer videos and quizzes to educate employees on security basics and teach them how to defend against cyberattacks.
In addition, MSPs can leverage BullPhish ID pre-loaded or custom phishing email and landing page templates, ID Agent said. This allows MSPs to manage multiple target groups in an organization and provide them with different messages.
The new product, free to all ID Agent partners, helped the company sign up over 60 new partners at last week's Robin Robins Boot Camp conference, according to ID Agent Chief Marketing Officer Dana Liedholm.
ID Agent: Company Milestones
ID Agent's BullPhish ID launch comes after the company in January announced the Goal Assist sales support program for MSPs, MSSPs and other channel partners.
Goal Assist provides hands-on sales assistance to channel partners, ID Agent said. It offers access to sales training, webinars, videos and virtual sales meetings, as well as sales event support.
ID Agent delivers the Dark Web ID monitoring solution. Channel partners can provide Dark Web ID as a branded service to help organizations identify, analyze and track compromised or stolen employee and customer data.
Furthermore, ID Agent offers Spotlight ID, which enables channel partners to provide personal identity protection to their customers. Spotlight ID also is backed by a $1 million identity theft restoration policy.
Should Channel Partners Invest in Dark Web Monitoring?
Dark web monitoring is a threat protection offering that enables channel partners to track an organization's identity information on the dark web and receive notifications if customer data is found online. As such, dark web monitoring and other threat protection offerings may prove to be exceedingly valuable to channel partners that want to bolster their portfolios.
Meanwhile, the global identity theft protection services market was valued at $6.7 billion in 2017, according to industry analyst Credence Research. This market also is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.2 percent between 2018 and 2026.
Security Awareness Training: Partner Options
MSSPs and MSPs have a lengthy list of security awareness training tools from which to choose.
Demand for such tools and related services appears strong. The latest evidence: KnowBe4, a provider of security awareness training and simulated phishing software, recently received a minority investment from KKR and Ten Eleven Ventures. The investment values KnowBe4 at $800 million, the software company says.
