Social Networking or distancing concept

Keeper Security has launched an influencer program in which content creators from social media would collaborate with the company to share their experiences of using its password manager.

With the by-invitation Keeper Influencer Program, the company hopes to find social media influencers who are passionate about cybersecurity and interested in contributing content on the benefits of its password manager.

Spreading the Word About Cyber Threats

Keeper, which sells a cloud-based, privileged access management (PAM) platform, said it is “keen to spread the word” to help protect consumers against the “most common and pervasive” cyber threats. The program, Keeper said, will enable influencers to share their stories, insights and honest reviews about Keeper’s platform, thereby empowering their audiences to take control of their online security.

There’s certainly room in the PAM market for such a program. Keeper recently pointed to an S&P Market Intelligence study that showed only 43% of small to medium-sized businesses have deployed PAM, compared to other leading security technologies like network, email and endpoint security and security information and event management (SIEM) tools, all of which are above 75% deployment.

Darren Guccione, Keeper chief executive and co-founder, explained the influencer initiative:

"We are excited to introduce the Keeper Influencer Program, a global community of cybersecurity advocates who believe in our mission to protect billions of people from cyber criminals. By empowering influencers who are genuine Keeper enthusiasts, we aim to create a collective force to amplify the critical need for strong password management to protect people from data breaches and cyber threats."

Earning Money for Influence

Keeper said it created the influencer program to develop and foster long-term relationships with those who want to help their followers improve their online security. Participants will earn money for the content they create and be eligible to receive a complimentary subscription to Keeper Unlimited, the company’s premium-level password manager, to protect their online presence for life.

To join the Keeper Influencer Program, interested content creators are invited to apply here. Selected participants will be notified and curated into the program. Each participant will receive a unique promotional code and custom landing page to share with their followers.

Keeper maintains a program for managed service providers (MSPs) with its KeeperMSP solution. The program features complete visibility into end-users’ password habits with reporting and auditing tools to enforce security and compliance requirements.
