8. Partnership - MDR Part One: CI Security and Ednetics have partnered to offer 24x7 information security monitoring, threat detection, and response for education networks. Ednetics provides technology and physical security solutions for education and government customers. CI Security specializes in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.

7. Partnership - MDR Part Two: LMS, a conveyancing panel manager in the UK, has selected CTS for managed detection and response (MDR) services.

6. Qualys Financial Results: The company's Q1 2019 results included:

  • Revenue of $75.3 million, up 16 percent from the corresponding quarter last year.
  • GAAP net income of $13.3 million, up from 9.1 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

The results generally beat Wall Street's expectations.

5. Fortinet Financial Results: The company's Q1 2019 results included:

  • Revenue of $472.6 million, up 18 percent from the corresponding quarter last year.
  • Net income of $58.8 million, up from $41.6 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

The results largely beat Wall Street's expectations.

4. Carbon Black Financial Results: The company's Q1 2019 financial results included:

  • Revenue of 58.6 million, up 21 percent from the corresponding quarter last year.
  • Net loss was $19.7 million, compared to a net loss of $20.6 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

3. Talent - SIEM: JASK has made the following executive moves:

  • Former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) J.J. Guy is now chief operating officer (COO);
  • Rob Fry, former JASK vice president of engineering, is now CTO;
  • Troy Reish, previously senior director of engineering, is now vice president of engineering;
  • Former VP Andrew Maloney is now senior VP of global field operations.

2. Expansion - SIEM: Exabeam is opening an office in Atlanta, Georgia to serve the U.S. east coast. The expansion includes 20 new jobs.
