7. Ransomware Attack - Update: Maine's capital city of Augusta declined to pay hackers more than $100,000 in ransomware demands and instead rebuilt the city's network by restoring from backup systems, a local report says.

6. Another Atlanta Cyberattack: The Woodruff Arts Center of Atlanta, Georgia suffered a security breach and a massive network outage last week. The organization's  ticketing system went dark amid the breach. We're seeking updates. Separately, the city of Atlanta suffered a ransomware attack in 2018 that triggered an expensive, multi-month cleanup effort.

5. Database Security Scanning: Trustwave, a  Top 100 MSSP, has unveiled new database security scanning and testing software that helps organizations better protect critical data assets hosted on-site or by major cloud service providers from advanced threats, configuration errors, access control issues, unauthorized privilege escalation, missing patches and more.

4. Cyber Insurance: Coalition has launched cyber insurance specifically for healthcare companies.

3. Ethical Hacking Software: The Parrot Security team released a new version of their ethical hacking and penetration testing tool, called Parrot 4.6.

2. Cybersecurity Conference: ArkCon 2019, the CyberArk Labs conference for cybersecurity researchers, is today in Israel. We'll be listening for updates.
