Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Bot Management Solution: Fastly, a specialist in global edge cloud platforms, has enhanced its managed security service with Fastly Bot Management. Fastly’s security offering guarantees that its security experts will proactively notify and begin mitigating critical security incidents within 30 minutes of discovery, often before an incident is even discovered by a customer, the company said.

2. Cloud Security Partnership: CyberProof has extended its partnership with Google Cloud, focused on leveraging Google Chronicle Security Operations and other Google Cloud Security solutions to extend the capabilities of CyberProof's managed extended detection and response (XDR) services. With this partnership, CyberProof has expanded its security service offerings to help clients work across organizational and functional silos, delivering an end-to-end service experience, the company said.

3. Threat Defense Release: Tidal Cyber, a threat defense company, has unveiled new innovation in its Tidal Cyber Enterprise Edition with customizations and integrations that improve data-driven defense against cyber adversaries. The platform fully operationalizes threat-informed defense, empowering enterprise security teams to save time and money while vastly improving their security coverage, the company said.

4. Cyber Education for Underserved Communities: AttackIQ, an independent vendor of breach and attack simulation (BAS) solutions and founding research partner of the MITRE Engenuity Center for Threat-Informed Defense (CTID), is partnering with the Cyber Poverty Line Institute. To help address unequal access to cyber knowledge and cyber capabilities, the company will provide AttackIQ Academy courses to the Institute’s students in underserved communities. This initiative aims to empower individuals with the necessary tools to achieve cyber inclusion.

5. Security Automation Marketplace Launches: Swimlane, a security automation specialist, has launched the Swimlane Marketplace, a full-stack modular marketplace for security automation. The Swimlane Marketplace goes beyond the typical marketplace by facilitating seamless integration and simplifying automation, empowering organizations to streamline security operations (SecOps) across any technology stack or use case with bespoke solutions, the company said.

6. EASM Solution Release: Qualys, a provider of cloud-based IT, security and compliance solutions, has launched CyberSecurity Asset Management 3.0, an expansion of the Enterprise TruRisk Platform. This update integrates Qualys' vulnerability assessment capability into its External Attack Surface Management (EASM) solution, delivering an accurate, real-time view of the external attack surface that eliminates more false positives to mitigate the risk of unknown assets, the company said.

7. Security Solution Launch: OpenText has brought to market OpenText cyDNAl, offering unparalleled visibility and early-warning insights into cyber threats that transcend traditional perimeters, the company said. And unlike conventional threat intelligence that focuses on generalized threat activity, OpenText's cyDNA adversarial signals threat intelligence is unique in that it tells exactly what is happening, not what might happen.

8. Threat Report Release: XM Cyber, a threat exposure management specialist, has released the findings of its third annual research report, Navigating the Paths of Risk: The State of Exposure Management. Produced in collaboration with the Cyentia Institute, the report provides an in-depth look at the cyber exposure landscape based on data gathered from over 40 million exposures that present high-impact risks to millions of critical business entities. This research found that identity and credential misconfigurations represent a staggering 80% of security exposures across organizations, with a third of these exposures putting critical assets at direct risk of breach.

9. Threat Intel Integration: Xcitium, a provider of threat preemptive zero dwell virtualization, is now integrated with Intel Threat Detection Technology within a single unified zero trust platform. "Xcitium is expanding its integration of Intel Threat Detection Technology (TDT) to our entire product portfolio to defeat ransomware and cyberattacks for SMB, enterprise and MSP/MSSP customers," said Melih Abdulhayoglu, chairman and founder of Xcitium.

10. Cloud Security Release: Sentra, a cloud-native data security platform provider, has delivered new technology integrations with Check Point Software Technologies to deliver full visibility, control and security of a customer's cloud data assets. By integrating Check Point Infinity ThreatCloud AI and Check Point CloudGuard with Sentra's data security posture management (DSPM) and data detection and response (DDR) platform, customers will be able to leverage malware detection and enriched data context to enhance threat prevention and remediation and ensure data privacy and protection across cloud data stores and applications, the company said.

11. SOC Solution Debuts: Splunk, a cybersecurity and observability company, has brought to market Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence, a solution designed to power the SOC of the future by helping businesses streamline compliance, reduce cyber risk and eliminate the sources of shadow IT. This new addition builds upon Splunk’s robust security portfolio, which includes Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk Attack Analyzer and Splunk SOAR, the company said.
