Network Perception and Claroty are working together to provide operational technology (OT) network auditors with a "comprehensive, independent audit platform to track and verify system changes and enhance network visibility."

According to the companies, they have created an integrated solution that combines Network Perception's NP-View cyber risk mitigation platform with the Claroty Continuous Threat Detection (CTD) solution.

What Network Perception and Claroty's Technologies Offer

NP-View provides network auditors with assessment reports and network engineers with alerts to identify potential network risks, Network Perception noted.

It also allows users to:

  • Import their network device configurations offline
  • Visualize their network architecture
  • Analyze their network's connectivity and the exposure of their protected assets
  • Verify access to ports and services across different trust zones

Meanwhile, CTD helps users:

  • Identify and protect their eXtended internet of things (XIoT) assets
  • Detect and respond to indicators of threats
  • Extend their enterprise security and risk infrastructure and programs to secure their industrial networks

The solution extends the same controls IT security teams use to minimize risk in IT environments to OT environments.

How the Network Perception-Claroty Solution Works

With Network Perception and Claroty's solution, network auditors can establish an accurate baseline view of their organizations' network architecture and cybersecurity posture, the businesses said. They can then use this information to set up continuous monitoring to respond and adapt to network disruptions.

Furthermore, the Network Perception and Claroty integration automates network assessments. In doing so, it allows security and audit teams to transition from point-in-time spot-checking to real-time verification and make their organizations more cyber resilient than ever before.

Network Perception Partners with GrayMatter, Check Point Software Technologies

The Claroty partnership comes after Network Perception in April 2023 started providing GrayMatter customers with access to its network audit solutions. Now, GrayMatter customers can use NP-View to monitor OT networks and protect against cyber threats, the companies said.

Previously, Check Point Software Technologies in November 2022 incorporated NP-View into its portfolio. Check Point customers can use NP-View to secure their OT assets and assess their network security posture, the companies stated.

Network Perception offers network cybersecurity audit and compliance solutions. The company has also established alliance, consulting and technical partnerships with various cybersecurity and technology providers.
