Stream Security (formerly Lightlytics) has unveiled Cloud Twin, a cloud security solution that "empowers security and operations teams to detect and investigate their exposure and threats," according to the company.

Cloud Twin models a cloud environment and allows organizations to understand the impact of every operation in their environment in real-time, Stream said. As such, organizations can use Cloud Twin to identify security gaps, analyze potential threats, assess the impact of their remediation efforts and drive collaboration between security and operations teams.

Stream Security Helps Organizations Keep Pace with Cybercriminals

Cloud Twin recognizes the fact that "incidents are inevitable," Stream CTO Stav Sitnikov said. It offers threat detection and response mechanisms that enable organizations to match the pace of cybercriminals. In doing so, Cloud Twin enables organizations to address threats before they can cause long-lasting damage.

Furthermore, Cloud Twin equips security and operations teams with precise and timely insights into their cloud environments, Stream noted. These insights allow security and operations teams to engage with one another and identify the best ways to protect their organizations against cyberattacks and data breaches.

Stream Security Cloud Twin Works with Microsoft Azure

Along with providing real-time cloud security, Cloud Twin can be used with Microsoft Azure to provide organizations with cloud security coverage for a wide range of users and model possible paths and traffic between different cloud platforms, Stream indicated.

In addition, Cloud Twin correlates vulnerabilities with their exploitability level to help users prioritize their security efforts, Stream pointed out. Cloud Twin also offers threat anomaly detection capabilities that enable users to detect malicious behavior and unauthorized access.

A Closer Look at Stream Security

Stream helps organizations detect, investigate and respond to cloud threats, the company said. It offers Cloud Twin, which offers cloud exposure detection and governance capabilities.

Meanwhile, Stream provides a partner program that enables technology providers to use Cloud Twin to deliver real-time cloud security solutions. Stream is currently looking for reseller partners in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure ecosystems that are focused on security.
