ManageEngine, the IT operations and service management software provider, has launched Patch Manager Plus on Cloud, an automated patch management solution for Windows and 850 third-party applications.
Patch Manager Plus on Cloud enables IT administrators to automate the patch management process without any on-premises infrastructure investment.
Patch Manager Plus on Cloud secures devices from multiple vulnerabilities and cyberattacks at less than a dollar per computer per month, ManageEngine indicated.
Key features of Patch Manager Plus on Cloud include:
- Automatic detection, download and deployment of missing patches.
- Granular controls for the patch deployment process.
- Ongoing network scanning.
- Periodic notifications and out-of-box reports, including patch enforcement and patch compliance reports.
Ultimately, Patch Manager Plus on Cloud reduces the time and effort needed to deploy patches across an organization, ManageEngine said. It allows IT teams to remotely patch an organization's servers, desktops, laptops and virtual machines (VMs), ManageEngine noted, and identify missing patches and automate patching for Windows and third-party applications.
Patch Manager Plus on Cloud is now available, and pricing starts at $34.50 per month for 50 computers ($0.69 per computer). In addition, a 30-day trial of Patch Manager Plus on Cloud is available, and a free version is available for startups and small businesses to manage up to 25 computers or servers.
