End customers today are looking to their managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers for help with their cybersecurity posture. One of the ways that MSPs and MSSPs can help their clients is with vCISO services.

MSSP Alert recently spoke with Cynomi CEO David Primor about vCISO services and why more MSSPs are offering these services to their end clients. Such services can enable MSSPs to help their clients find gaps in their cybersecurity posture and identify the right services and solutions to fill those gaps. For MSSPs, vCISO services are another way that providers can be that trusted advisor. In addition, MSSPs can provide end clients with what they need to fill the gaps in their cybersecurity.

Cynomi is dedicated to the vCISO market. The company recently debuted a directory of vCISOs, designed to help MSSPs and end-customers find each other.
