AgileBlue Readiness Program gives security teams a faster path to incident response

AgileBlue has launched an Incident Readiness Program aimed at helping companies bring in digital forensics and incident response support faster during a cyberattack. The subscription puts contracts, rates, onboarding, and response planning in place before an incident happens, so teams get a head start instead of starting the process in the middle of a breach.

The program is built around a common problem in incident response: companies can lose valuable time finding a forensics firm, agreeing on pricing, and moving contracts and nondisclosure agreements through legal review. AgileBlue says that work will be handled in advance and will give customers access to a pre-approved response partner. Customers pay an annual fee for the program, while response work is billed only when it is used.

AgileBlue is offering three levels of service. The first covers onboarding and contracting with its incident response partner network. The second adds a tabletop exercise to test how the organization handles escalation, communications, and decision-making. The third includes a customized incident response plan based on the company’s systems, key assets, regulatory requirements and internal responsibilities.

For customers, the value comes down to having fewer decisions to make when an attack is already underway. The program gives security, legal, and leadership teams a clearer response process, while giving AgileBlue a way to extend its role from ongoing security operations into incident preparation and recovery.
