Beacon Security raises $13M to build a data layer for AI-driven cyber defense

Beacon Security has raised $13 million in seed funding to expand its platform for security teams using AI agents across detection, investigation, posture management, and security operations. Notable Capital led the round, with participation from Holly Ventures, AlphaDrive Ventures, SVCI, Jefferies Family Office, and a group of cybersecurity founders and CISOs. The company said it will use the funding to develop its data platform, add security agents, and support enterprise growth.

Beacon sits between an organization’s security telemetry and the tools or agents that use that information. Its data layer collects signals from multiple vendors, normalizes and enriches the data, resolves identities and assets, and checks whether security teams have gaps in coverage. The goal is to give analysts and AI systems a consistent view of the environment before they investigate threats or take action.

The company also provides a workspace where security teams can run or build agents for tasks including detection engineering, investigations, security posture analysis, and shadow AI monitoring. Beacon has developed its own agents for specific security workflows, while keeping the platform open to agents created by customers. That gives organizations more control over how automated actions are designed, tested, and connected to their existing security stack.

Founded in 2024 by Gal Tal-Hochberg, Or Mattatia, and Iddo Israely, Beacon said its annual recurring revenue grew more than 300% during the first half of 2026. Its customers include companies in financial services, insurance, healthcare, hospitality, and technology. The funding reflects growing interest in the infrastructure behind agentic security, particularly the data quality and context needed before organizations allow AI systems to investigate incidents or influence response decisions.
