Circumvent Raises $6M to Scale AI-Powered Cloud Security Platform

Australian startup Circumvent has raised $6 million in seed funding to advance its AI-driven approach to cloud and application security, reports SecurityWeek. Backed by Paladin Capital Group, the company is focused on reducing alert fatigue and improving remediation workflows through automation and context-aware decision-making.

Circumvent’s platform uses a multi-agent AI system that ingests data from a wide array of sources—cloud platforms, open-source tools, and third-party solutions, and enriches it with business context. The system prioritizes risk and suggests remediation actions that can be deployed directly into development workflows, streamlining the path from detection to resolution.

The company is working with enterprises across the US, Australia, and New Zealand, helping teams operate across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Its solution supports integration with code repositories and policy enforcement mechanisms, aligning security tasks with business priorities and compliance needs.

With its R&D base in Sydney, Circumvent will use the new funding to expand its product and customer teams, while setting up a commercial HQ in San Francisco. The move aims to grow the company’s presence in the US and deepen engagement with global enterprises navigating complex cloud environments.
