Exabeam Adds Peer Benchmarking to Strengthen CISO Decision-Making

Exabeam is adding a new layer of intelligence to its platform - one that helps security leaders see where they stand. The company’s latest release introduces configurable peer benchmarking inside its Nova Advisor Agent, allowing CISOs to compare their security posture against similar organizations by industry, region, or size. It’s a way to turn benchmarking from a static report into a live, operational insight that helps teams prioritize, justify spend, and align security strategy with real-world context.

The capability builds on Exabeam’s agentic AI foundation, using telemetry from threat detection and configuration data to assess coverage across MITRE ATT&CK techniques and real use cases. Instead of relying on broad maturity models, teams can now see how their coverage stacks up, pinpoint gaps, and track progress over time. It’s a practical step toward helping SOCs move from intuition-based decision-making to evidence-based planning — with the added benefit of delivering leadership-ready updates without extra manual work.

This update also introduces business-aware risk scoring, helping SOC analysts focus on alerts that actually matter. By mapping detection severity to business impact, teams can tune out the noise and give critical threats the attention they deserve. The result is fewer distractions, more accurate triage, and a clearer view of what poses genuine risk to the organization.

Exabeam’s recent partnerships and integrations continue to round out this strategy. Collaborations with Cribl and DataBahn streamline telemetry ingestion and storage, while deeper integration with Google Cloud extends visibility into AI agent behavior and insider risk. Together, these updates move Exabeam closer to its goal: giving security teams actionable context they can use every day to strengthen detection, response, and decision-making.
