Hack The Box launches AI Range Enterprise Edition for security teams

Hack The Box has introduced its AI Range Enterprise Edition, a new platform designed to allow security teams to test the capabilities of their artificial intelligence agents. This release aims to address the challenge of vetting AI agents before they are deployed into production environments, ensuring they can perform their assigned daily tasks effectively, according to a recent report by Silicon Angle.

The AI Range Enterprise Edition allows corporate security teams to evaluate AI agents against their specific roles using a method called Agentic Worker Competence. Each agent receives a score for its assigned role and a pass-or-fail grade across various simulated environments, with performance tracked over time. New environments are regularly added to reflect emerging vulnerabilities and attack patterns. Customers can re-run assessments whenever an agent, its underlying model, or its data is updated.

The platform also includes AI-augmented roles for human staff, such as penetration testers and security operations center analysts, to assess their ability to work alongside AI, catch AI errors, and know when to intervene. This ensures confidence in both human and AI components of the cybersecurity workforce. The AI Range Enterprise Edition and initial AI-augmented roles are available now, with plans to introduce more roles in the future.
