Horizon3 expands leadership team in Australia and New Zealand

Cybersecurity vendor Horizon3 has appointed Chris Wood as its first director of sales for Australia and New Zealand to oversee regional growth, as first reported by Arn Net.

Wood, who joined the company in July, will operate from Melbourne to lead sales efforts and build local teams. He brings over 20 years of industry experience, having previously served as the founder of Helmswood Consulting and held roles at firms including RSA Security and Imperva. In a parallel move, the company hired Vivienne Horsfall as growth marketing director for Asia Pacific and Japan. Horsfall brings 30 years of experience to lead brand awareness and regional marketing programs. These appointments are part of a broader expansion strategy for the region, which includes hiring more than 50 employees and establishing a point of presence in Sydney.

The growth is supported by a $250 million Series E funding round that valued the company at over $2 billion. Gareth Cox, the vice president of sales for the region, stated that these investments in leadership and infrastructure are designed to help customers integrate autonomous security validation into their operations. The vendor aims to strengthen its ability to support organizations and partners through these strategic personnel additions.
