Sola Security raises $35M Series A Funding

Sola Security has closed a $35 million Series A round, adding to the $30 million seed it raised last year. The new funding brings the company’s total to $65 million. The round was led by existing investor S32 with participation from M12, Microsoft’s venture arm, and New Era Capital Partners, along with continuing support from Mike Moritz, S Capital, and Glilot Capital Partners.

The company was founded in 2024 by cybersecurity veterans Guy Flechter and Ron Peled, who set out to address the lack of innovation they saw in security solutions. Their aim is to simplify and speed up the way organizations respond to threats, using AI to cut down work that typically takes days or weeks into minutes. This approach aligns with industry expectations that AI assistants will evolve into copilots for security teams, helping reduce repetitive tasks and strengthen decision-making.

Since emerging from stealth six months ago, Sola Security has attracted more than 2,000 users who have already created over 1,000 custom security apps. These span use cases across identity and access management, cloud security, compliance, posture and configuration management, and more. The company’s platform lets teams generate and adapt solutions quickly without being locked into a single vendor.

With the new funding, Sola Security plans to deepen its AI capabilities and expand its platform. The team’s focus remains on building tools that let security practitioners create tailored solutions quickly and understand their existing stacks more effectively. The company positions itself as a way for organizations of any size to move faster, reduce friction, and keep up with the increasing complexity of security demands.
