Sophos has introduced CISO Advantage, a new AI-enabled cybersecurity offering aimed at helping organizations evaluate risks, prioritize security improvements, and monitor their security posture. This launch also provides managed service providers (MSPs) with a more structured approach to delivering virtual CISO services, according to Channel Insider.
The CISO Advantage platform, integrated with Sophos Fusion, is designed to address the increasing demand for strategic security leadership from MSPs. According to Sophos's 2026 MSP Perspective Report, 46% of customers already depend on their MSPs for CISO functions, with 84% of MSPs anticipating a rise in this demand.
The service assists partners in creating security assessments, aligning controls with industry frameworks like NIST CSF and CIS v8, and developing prioritized, budget-conscious roadmaps for clients. This allows organizations to gain a clear understanding of their cyber risks, receive actionable plans for mitigation, and track measurable progress. The offering supports various operational models, enabling organizations to manage the program internally, collaborate with an MSP, or transition to a fully managed service.
