Terra Security expands agentic pentesting to internal networks

Terra Security has added internal network pentesting to its Terra Platform, extending its coverage across web applications, AI systems, external networks, and internal infrastructure. The new capability is available in a limited preview with select design partners and is designed to continuously test how attackers could move through an organization after gaining initial access.

The platform uses specialized AI agents to test systems when code or infrastructure changes, rather than waiting for a scheduled assessment. Findings can be connected across attack surfaces, helping security teams identify how separate weaknesses could form a path into critical systems. Terra says human researchers remain involved when testing could affect sensitive production environments.

Internal network findings will move through the same workflow Terra already uses for other testing areas. The platform validates whether a weakness can be exploited, provides remediation guidance, and then retests the issue after changes are made. Security researchers and red teams can oversee agent activity through Terra’s Offensive Research Collaboration Hub, which provides visibility and control throughout the testing process.

By extending continuous pentesting into internal networks, Terra is giving security teams a broader view of how an attack could move across the business. The next test will be whether that wider coverage helps organizations find meaningful attack paths sooner, fix them faster, and keep pace as infrastructure continues to change.
