Bitdefender Updates MSP Program: What You Need to Know

Bitdefender, a Romanian antivirus software provider, has announced a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program to complement its Partner Advantage Network Program (PAN), Reselling Channel Program and Integrated Channel Program.

Bitdefender’s MSP program provides MSPs with access to marketing development funds, operational and business support and the company’s team of technical account managers. It also features three levels:

  • Bronze: Offers tier-based pricing, usage breakdown visibility per customer, Level 2 support and not-for-resale license keys for internal use.
  • Silver: Offers access to marketing development resources, along with a dedicated partner success manager and partner locator listing.
  • Gold: Offers access to a dedicated technical account manager and potential entry into Bitdefender’s Partner Advisory Board and Reference Program.

Bitdefender’s MSP Program enables the company to expand globally, the company indicated. It also ensures Bitdefender can partner with MSPs and extend its channel reach.

Introducing the GravityZone MEDR Service

In addition to its MSP Program, Bitdefender in December 2018 launched the GravityZone Managed Endpoint Detection and Response (MEDR) service for MSPs.

GravityZone MEDR identifies malware campaigns, notifies security and IT teams about potential risks and recommends prevention and remediation actions, Bitdefender stated. It also helps security and IT teams perform sample analyses to determine if suspicious events are real threats.

Furthermore, Bitdefender offers the GravityZone security services bundle, which provides centralized management of servers and workstations. This bundle delivers application behavior monitoring, layered endpoint protection and other security capabilities.
