Radiant Security has emerged from stealth with a "co-pilot" solution that empowers security operations centers (SOCs) to use artificial intelligence (AI) to boost security analyst productivity, according to the company.

Radiant announced its plans to enter the cybersecurity market and is showcasing its AI-powered co-pilot solution during the Black Hat USA conference, which concludes on August 10.

How Radiant Security's AI-Powered SOC Co-Pilot Solution Works

SOC analysts can use Radiant's AI-powered co-pilot solution to automate alert triage, incident investigation, containment and remediation and escalation and approval workflows, the company said. As such, the solution helps SOC analysts detect attacks, limit false-positive alerts and reduce their incident response times.

The co-pilot solution lets SOC analysts review every alert for maliciousness and ensure that no attack is missed, Radiant noted. It also allows these analysts to perform root cause analyses and look for ways to reduce the likelihood of future incidents.

Radiant Security's SOC Co-Pilot Customizes Incident Response

For every malicious incident that Radiant's co-pilot detects, it automatically builds a custom, incident-specific response plan, the business said. This plan helps SOC analysts identify security issues and the containment and remediation actions required to address them.

In addition, Radiant's co-pilot provides SOC analysts with step-by-step instructions to remediate incidents. These analysts also can perform one-click remediation from the co-pilot's user interface or automatically respond to incidents.

A Closer Look at Radiant Security

Radiant was founded by Shahar Ben-Hador and Barry Shteiman. Ben-Hador is Radiant's CEO and previously served as vice president of Product Management at security operations platform provider Exabeam. Shteiman is Radiant's chief technology officer and was formerly the vice president of Advanced Research at Exabeam.

Organizations can use Radiant's SOC co-pilot to protect against email, endpoint, identity and network attacks. They can deploy the solution as an API in minutes, and it can help them reduce their SOC analyst workloads by as much as 95%, the company indicated.

Radiant does not currently offer a partner program for MSSPs and MSPs. However, Radiant may look to develop and launch a channel partner program in the future.
