Convergint has acquired Prosys Services, a security management provider in Australia. Financial terms were not disclosed.
This is technology M&A deal number 214 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.
Convergint Acquires Prosys Services: Buyer and Seller Details
Prosys Services, founded in 1988, offers security management systems to commercial and industrial clients, tertiary institutions, critical infrastructure, health departments, the construction industry, and large corporations, the seller said. Key areas of expertise include video analytics, access control, and video management systems.
Roughly 125 Prosys employees will join Convergint -- a $1.8 billion systems integrator that designs, installs, and services electronic security, cybersecurity, fire and life safety, building automation, and audio-visual systems. Convergent now has roughly 7,500 employees in 160 locations worldwide, the buyer said.
This is Convergint’s third acquisition in Australia. Earlier deals included acquiring Western Australia-based Cerberus Technologies in 2020 and Victoria-based Integrators Australia in 2018, the buyer noted.
