Industry Recognition: Stellar Cyber, an Open XDR technology specialist, has been named a Strong Performer in the Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Network Detection and Response (NDR. 4. Leadership Move: Evo Security, a channel-only platform provider of Identity and Access Management (IAM), has hired Eric Morano as the company's new vice president of Sales and Marketing. 6. Cyberattack Reported: British Airways and retailer Boots said their staff were amongst those hit by a cyberattack on Zellis, a payroll provider used by hundreds of companies in Britain. British Airways said it had notified affected employees and was providing them with support. Hacker Alert: Hackers have stolen data from the systems of a number of users of the popular file transfer tool MOVEit Transfer, U.S. security researchers said on June 1, one day after the maker of the software disclosed that a security flaw had been discovered. Software maker Progress Software Corp, after disclosing the vulnerability, said it could lead to potential unauthorized access into users' systems. (Source: Reuters)
