Vectra, a network threat detection and response platform provider, has launched Cognito Detect for Office 365 to help organizations combat Office 365 attacks.
Cognito Detect enables organizations to track cybercriminal activity across on-premise, data center, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and SaaS environments, Vectra said. The solution allows organizations to use AI to monitor cyber threats in real-time, and it provides automated processes and security event consolidation, behavioral context into cyberattacks and visibility into cybercriminal behaviors.
Furthermore, Cognito Detect can be integrated into endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM) and other security tools, Vectra stated. Cognito Detect also offers an application programming interface (API) for custom integrations.
Multiple software companies have been launching Office 365 security solutions for partners -- particularly MSPs and MSSPs. New options include offerings from RocketCyber and Perch Security, respectively.
Vectra Opens Australia HQ, Raises $100 Million in Series E Funding
Meanwhile, the Cognito Detect for Office 365 announcement comes after Vectra recently expanded its operations.
Vectra in August established regional headquarters in Sydney, Australia. The Sydney HQ extended Vectra's reach into the Asia-Pacific.
In addition, Vectra in June raised $100 million in a Series E funding round led by growth equity firm TCV, which brought the company's total financing to more than $200 million. Vectra at the time said it would use the funding to expand globally and bolster its Cognito platform.
Vectra applies AI to help organizations detect and address cyberattacks. Organizations can use Cognito to simultaneously secure cloud, data center and enterprise infrastructure and empower security analysts with AI-based threat hunting and investigation capabilities, the company said.
