Arcitecta Releases Point-in-Time Ransomware Recovery Solution
Arcitecta, a data management software company, has launched the Point in Time Ransomware Rapid Recovery Solution for organizations in the media and entertainment sectors.
The ransomware recovery solution protects media and entertainment studios against downtime, lost media assets and delayed or canceled releases due to ransomware attacks, Arcitecta noted. It also allows these studios to restore their assets and limit the impact of a ransomware attack on their operations.
How Arcitecta’s Ransomware Solution Works
Arcitecta’s ransomware recovery solution can be used across a media or entertainment studio’s existing production storage systems, Arcitecta said. It has a built-in versioning file system that allows studios to restore their assets to an earlier, immutable and unencrypted version following a ransomware attack.
Commenting on his company’s ransomware recovery solution, Arcitecta CEO Jason Lohrey said:
“Ransomware attacks are a significant threat to the media and entertainment industry, where the value of the intellectual property is particularly high. Extended recovery times can be devastating to production schedules. The Point in Time Ransomware Rapid Recovery Solution provides a quick and easy way for studios to recover their media assets and keep production plans on track.”
The ransomware recovery solution is now available. In addition, Arcitecta will showcase the solution at the 2023 NAB Show, April 17-19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
