CrowdStrike Unveils Developer Portal for MSSPs, Partners

CrowdStrike has launched the CrowdStrike Developer Portal to encourage MSSPs and other channel partners to leverage the company's APIs to build applications and integrations, according to a prepared statement. The company unveiled the developer portal at this week's RSA Conference in San Francisco, California.

The CrowdStrike Developer Portal provides documentation, use cases and tutorials to help channel partners create apps and integrations to address various security issues, the company stated. It enables channel partners to engage with CrowdStrike so they can develop apps and integrations that leverage the company's Falcon endpoint protection platform.

MSSPs and other channel partners can leverage Falcon to protect endpoints across all leading operating system platforms and against all types of cyberattacks, CrowdStrike said. In doing so, they can use Falcon to accelerate threat detection and response.

Introducing New CrowdStrike Store Partner Offerings

Also this week, CrowdStrike announced SafeGuard Cyber and Hunters.AI have launched CrowdStrike Store offerings.

SafeGuard Cyber delivers a Digital Risk Protection app that uses Falcon Threat Intelligence APIs to evaluate indicators of compromise (IOCs) against known and unknown threats, CrowdStrike said. Digital Risk Protection extends visibility into threat activities on protected accounts across social, mobile and collaboration channels and provides coordinated response across virtual and physical endpoints.

Hunters.AI offers autonomous threat hunting to detect cyberattacks that bypass existing controls, CrowdStrike said. It leverages Falcon endpoint telemetry in conjunction with AWS Cloudtrail logs and other data sources and enriches threat signals with attack intelligence and Falcon threat intelligence feeds.

CrowdStrike Store: More Background

CrowdStrike launched the CrowdStrike Store in August. The CrowdStrike Store provides a unified security cloud ecosystem that features applications developed by CrowdStrike partners and enables organizations to discover, try, buy and deploy trusted partner applications.
