SentinelOne: From Endpoint Protection to Cybersecurity Data Lake

SentinelOne has introduced the Singularity Platform, which combines the data, access, control and integration planes of its endpoint detection and response (EDR), endpoint protection, Internet of Things (IoT) security and cloud workload protection offerings.

Singularity adds a real-time autonomous security layer across all of an organization's assets, SentinelOne said. It also provides access to an organization's back-end data and visibility across its devices.

What Does Singularity Offer?

Singularity provides the following capabilities:

  • Cloud Security: Safeguards cloud, container and server workloads.
  • Detection and Response: Enables devices to self-defend and heal themselves by stopping processes, quarantining, remediating and rolling back events.
  • Endpoint Protection: Uses AI to protect organizations against endpoint attacks.
  • IoT Discovery and Control: Identifies rogue devices across an organization.

Singularity is now available, and SentinelOne will showcase the platform at next week's RSA Conference in San Francisco, California.

SentinelOne Partners with CriticalStart, Perimeter 81

The Singularity announcement comes after SentinelOne last month partnered with CriticalStart, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019. Organizations can use SentinelOne's ActiveEDR solution alongside CriticalStart's Trusted Behavior Registry to contextualize and identify threat actors in real time and reduce escalated alerts, the companies said.

In addition, SentinelOne last year partnered with software-defined secure network access solutions provider Perimeter 81. The companies also unveiled a joint Zero Trust Network offering at the Black Hat USA conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
