MSP Eze Castle Launches Dark Web Monitoring Service

Eze Castle Integration, a ChannelE2E Top 100 Vertical Market MSP that’s backed by private equity firm H.I.G. Capital, has launched a Dark Web Monitoring service to safeguard organizations against stolen user credentials and target account takeover.

Dark Web Monitoring leverages SpyCloud‘s Active Directory (AD) Guardian early warning breach detection solution to monitor the dark web and see if customer email addresses, web domains and other watchlist assets are exposed. It then checks each exposed credential against an organization’s AD deployment to see if the credential belongs to an active user.

If Dark Web Monitoring identifies a match on an active user’s credentials, it automatically notifies an organization to take action before a data breach occurs. Dark Web Monitoring also requires the affected user to change his or her login password at this time.

In addition to Eze Castle Integration, SecureNow! this month added dark web monitoring capabilities to its breach prevention platform for MSPs.

SecureNow!’s breach prevention platform ensures MSPs can deliver dark web alerts related to potential data breaches involving customers’ employees, the company said. It also offers threat monitoring, security awareness training and white-label marketing content.

Dark Web Monitoring Services: Here’s What You Need to Know

Dark web monitoring empowers organizations to track confidential information online. Furthermore, many dark web monitoring services are available, including:

  • Compromised Data Tracking and Reporting: Uses logs and reports to identify and triage security incidents.
  • Compromised Data Trending and Benchmarking: Offers insights into an organization’s current security posture and benchmarks it against industry peers.
  • Threat Alerting: Provides real-time updates any time an organization’s confidential information is discovered online.

Dark web monitoring services may prove to be exceedingly valuable to MSPs and MSSPs, too. These services enable MSPs and MSSPs to bolster their security portfolios, and as such, could help them drive revenue growth.
