FireEye Unveils Digital Threat Monitoring, Purple Team Assessments

FireEye, a cybersecurity software and managed defense service provider, has launched a Digital Threat Monitoring service to help organizations detect dark and open web threats. The company announced Digital Threat Monitoring at the recent FireEye Cyber Defense Summit in Washington, D.C.

Digital Threat Monitoring automatically collects and analyzes content on the dark and open web, FireEye said. It notifies organizations any time a potential threat is detected to help them identify data breaches and exposures before they escalate.

In addition, FireEye offers the following Digital Threat Monitoring service options:

  • Digital Threat Assessment: A one-time assessment performed over 30 days using customer-selected keyword queries.
  • Digital Threat Monitoring: A subscription-based service that provides continuous monitoring and alerting based on customer-selected keyword queries.
  • Digital Threat Monitoring Advanced: A service that builds on Digital Threat Monitoring and includes 40 annual investigations performed by FireEye intelligence analysts.
  • Digital Threat Monitoring Enterprise: A service that builds on Digital Threat Monitoring Advanced and provides 80 annual investigations performed by FireEye intelligence analysts.

Digital Threat Monitoring is now available.

FireEye Introduces Purple Team Assessments, Partners with iboss

FireEye also unveiled Purple Team and Continuous Purple Team Assessments for its Mandiant cybersecurity consulting services. The assessments enable organizations to work with Mandiant incident response experts to evaluate their security programs against simulated attack scenarios.

Also, FireEye has announced a strategic partnership with cloud Internet security company iboss. FireEye has integrated iboss capabilities into its Cloud Network Security solution to help organizations protect end traffic, users, devices, networks, assets and data from known and unknown threats.

FireEye Solutions Now Available on AWS

In addition to its other Cyber Defense Summit announcements, FireEye has begun offering its Detection On Demand and Virtual Network Security services on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Detection On Demand allows AWS customers to use FireEye threat detection capabilities in conjunction with third-party security tools. Meanwhile, Virtual Network Security helps AWS customers defend their cloud data centers against cyber attacks, secure cloud workloads and analyze and block traffic.
