Identity Management Provider Accops and India’s Centre for Development of Advanced Computing Partner
Accops, a digital workspace and converged identity and access management (IAM) company, and India’s Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) have announced a partnership to deliver Accops’ BioAuth facial authentication capabilities to enterprise and government organizations.
BioAuth offers a biometric authentication server for fingerprint and face authentication solutions, according to Accops. The solution enables enterprises and government organizations to protect against identity impersonation, shoulder surfing, credential sharing and authentication-related cyberattacks.
How Accops BioAuth Works
Enterprises and government organizations can use BioAuth to “create a trusted work environment on demand and empower users of critical applications to be securely productive from wherever they are,” Accops stated. BioAuth can monitor a user’s work environment at preset intervals. It also locks out a user if any anomalies are detected and a security incident is reported.
BioAuth can identify if a user sitting in front of the device is a living person or a static photo, recorded video or another user with a face mask, Accops noted. It utilizes technology that avoids sending video files that consume high bandwidth or ask users to look left or right.
In addition, BioAuth can be integrated with any application, Accops said. It also follows a “maker-checker process” for user onboarding.

Along with BioAuth, Accops provides a variety of security products, including:
- HyMobile for mobile device management (MDM)
- HyLite for virtual application and desktop security
- HySecure for network application and device security
- HyID for multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO)
