MSP Security Services: Kaseya’s ID Agent Gains Passly IAM

ID Agent, a Kaseya company, has expanded its dark web monitoring and Digital Risk Protection (DRP) platform to include Passly, an identity and access management (IAM) solution.

Passly combines single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA) and password management into one solution for MSPs and IT teams, ID Agent says.

Passly is a rebrand of AuthAnvil, an IAM platform that Kaseya acquired in the Scorpion Software buyout of 2014. According to a statement from Kaseya and ID Agent to MSSP Alert:

"Last year, AuthAnvil was moved under ID Agent’s security portfolio within Kaseya, to expand its capabilities into a comprehensive Digital Risk Protection (DRP) Platform. In alignment with Kaseya’s IT Complete strategy, we are focused on integrating all security and risk tools into one seamless platform moving forward.

With the rebranding to Passly, and the new functionality and features we’ve added to what was AuthAnvil, we’ve created a first-class platform for managing your digital risk."
