Cloud cybersecurity company Cloudflare and Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure management services provider, are working together to "help enterprises modernize and scale their corporate networks," according to a prepared statement.

Commenting on his company's partnership with Kyndryl, Matt Harrell, global head of channels and alliances at Cloudflare, said:

"Given Kyndryl's industry-leading consulting and managed network services, there was a clear opportunity to partner in order to guide enterprises through their network transformations. By bringing together Kyndryl's proven track record with enterprises in managing solutions, and Cloudflare's platform for delivering leading comprehensive cloud infrastructure, this combination creates what enterprises need to easily transform their network."

Cloudflare and Kyndryl Connect Enterprises to Multiple Clouds at Scale

Together, Cloudflare and Kyndryl are offering network transformation services designed to meet the needs of flexible work environments, the companies indicated. These services provide enterprises with zero trust security and connectivity, remote access and management, control and visibility across their network infrastructure.

With the network transformation services, Kyndryl advises and assists enterprises as they manage their IT infrastructure, grow their networks and transfer their workloads to Cloudflare's technology platform, the companies stated.  The services ensure that enterprises can use Cloudflare's platform and Kyndryl's managed WAN-as-a-service to convert their resources to cloud-native solutions.

In addition, the Cloudflare-Kyndryl network transformation services allow enterprises to leverage a fully managed internet security, performance and reliability solution to scale their network capacity based on their business needs, the companies said. They also allow enterprises to retire their traditional hardware so that they can reduce their operating costs.

Cloudflare Provides Free Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to Its Customers

The Kyndryl partnership comes after Cloudflare in March 2023 started offering free PQC to protect its customers against cyberattacks originating from quantum computers. Cloudflare has been upgrading its internal systems to ensure that they are PQC-secure, the company said.

Cloudflare continues to look for ways to combine PQC and zero trust and remains focused on releases to the Cloudflare Interoperable, Reusable Cryptographic Library (CIRCL), which could be used for experimental deployment of cryptographic algorithms.

Cloudflare offers application, internet and website security solutions to global organizations. The company recorded $290.2 million in revenue in the first quarter of 2023, which represented a 37% year-over-year increase.

It also has a partner program that allows MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to use its solutions to deliver zero trust and other security services.
