BullWall is expanding into the North American market to increase its customer base and provide its ransomware containment to businesses in healthcare, education, government and other industries.

North American organizations can use BullWall's solution to monitor file shares, application servers and database servers in cloud and data center environments, the company said in a prepared statement. That way, these organizations can prevent server data encryption and block attempts to encrypt and exfiltrate data.

BullWall Bolsters Management Team

In addition to launching its ransomware containment solution in North America, BullWall has named Carol Volk as its chief marketing officer and Steve Hahn as its executive vice president of America Sales.

Volk oversees BullWall's marketing, including its brand strategy, digital marketing, product marketing and demand generation activities, the company said. Prior to joining BullWall, Volk held leadership roles at Beyond Identity and other cybersecurity companies.

Hahn is responsible for recruiting channel partners and managing BullWall's sales operations in North and South America, the company noted. He previously served as vice president of Worldwide Sales at Xypro Technology, a security compliance services company.

Commenting on the new hires, Steen Lomholt-Thomsen, chairman of BullWall's board of directors, said:

"The wealth of experience and leadership that Carol and Steve bring to BullWall are pivotal to our successful expansion into North America, which has experienced firsthand the impacts of ransomware attacks on critical infrastructure. In the short time they've been with us, both have already made a significant impact, and we are excited to provide new channel partners and customers with the game-changing last line of defense against ransomware that BullWall provides."

BullWall Will Sell 100% Through Channel Partners in North America

MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers can join BullWall's Channel Partner Program to integrate the company's ransomware containment capabilities into their offerings.

The program's features include:

  • Free customer assessments for environments with at least 250 Microsoft Active Directory users
  • On-site pre-sale support from BullWall's sales engineers, including demos and ransomware assessments or penetration tests
  • Post-sales customer support
  • Revenue sharing

BullWall was founded in 2016 and operated exclusively in Europe. Organizations can use BullWall's ransomware containment solution to defend against active threats, the company said.
