SOCaaS Partnership: Puma Telecommunications Leverages Arctic Wolf Networks
Puma Telecommunications, a company that specializes in compliant infrastructure management, and security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) provider Arctic Wolf Networks are working together to help healthcare organizations detect and respond to cyberattacks.
The deal surfaces roughly two months after Arctic Wolf Networks unveiled a 100 percent channel partner strategy for its U.S. and Canadian channel partners. The partner push is backed by $45 million in Series C funding that Arctic Wolf raised in October 2018.
Security Operations Center as a Service: Partnership Explained
Puma customers now can leverage Arctic Wolf’s CyberSOC SOCaaS platform for cyber threat identification and remediation, the companies said. They also can access Arctic Wolf’s Concierge Security Team to obtain security reports and compliance support.
Arctic Wolf provides cyber threat detection and information to help Puma customers address cyberattacks and minimize the risk of data breaches and compliance violations. Furthermore, Arctic Wolf continues to expand, and the Puma partnership could help the company capitalize on increasing demand for healthcare cybersecurity services.
The global healthcare cybersecurity services market is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.6 percent between 2017 and 2023, industry analyst Allied Market Research stated. This market also could be worth nearly $12.5 billion by 2023.
Arctic Wolf Adds Log Search Capability to Its MDR Service
In addition to its Puma partnership, Arctic Wolf in June 2019 incorporated a Log Search capability into its managed detection and response (MDR) service. Log Search allows organizations to search log information stored within CyberSOC to analyze data hot spots.
Arctic Wolf combines human expertise and machine intelligence to provide security insights that enable organizations to detect, prevent and respond to cyberattacks. The company also allows MSSPs to deliver CyberSOC as a turnkey SOCaaS via its partner program, the firm claims.
