Versa Networks has announced the Zero Trust Everywhere solution, which allows organizations to enforce their zero trust security policies for remote and onsite workers in campus and branch offices, according to the company.

Zero Trust Everywhere consists of two products: Versa Zero Trust – Premises (ZT-Prem) and Versa Secure Software-Defined LAN (Versa SD-LAN).

Versa co-founder Kumar Mehta commented on the new release:

"With Versa, organizations can now improve their security posture with Zero Trust enterprise-wide, as well as extend it to all users no matter where they choose to work, with a unified view and consistent security management at better economics and efficiency."

Securing Branch and Campus Users

Versa ZT-Prem is a secure access solution that connects branch and campus users connecting to applications and workloads hosted in data centers or private clouds, the company said. It applies zero trust access policies to users and devices based on identity, device posture and application.

Meanwhile, Versa Secure Software-Defined LAN is an inline ZTNA solution that offers switching and routing at line rate speeds with distributed adaptive microsegmentation and zero trust policy enforcement, the company noted. It also uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to help organizations identify security anomalies.

Zero Trust Everywhere is generally available, and Versa will showcase the solution at the 2023 RSA Conference, April 24-27 in San Francisco, California.

Versa Expands Globally, Adds Funding

The Zero Trust Everywhere launch comes after Versa in April 2023 selected Calculus Business Solutions, a global information and communications technology solutions company, as its new distributor in the Latin America region. Calculus is working with Versa partners in the region to provide Versa secure access service edge (SASE) sales support and services, the companies said.

Previously, Versa in October 2022 secured $120 million in a pre-IPO (initial public offering) financing round. Versa is using the funding to expand its go-to-market strategies and move closer to going public, the business said.

Versa provides unified SASE platforms to global organizations. The company offers the ACE Partner Program, which allows MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to integrate SASE capabilities into their portfolios.
