Dahlquist will lead Booz Allen's national cyber strategy, the company said. That includes managing Booz Allen's Full-Spectrum Cyber Operations to support defense and intelligence communities; overseeing teams across the its defense and national security businesses; and helping the company deliver cyber solutions to protect against cybercriminals.

Dahlquist most recently was at Palo Alto Networks (April 2019-November 2021). Earlier, she had been a VP at Booz Allen during a tour of duty from 2012 through April 2019.

During that first tour with Booz Allen, Dahlquist served as a cyber and technology leader in Booz Allen's defense and strategic innovation businesses and developed and integrated cyber capabilities across markets, led cyber investments and directed hiring and training of cyber talent. Dahlquist also managed Booz Allen's Cyber Solutions Network capability to support client-facing delivery of solutions in network infrastructure and development of solutions and tools.

Booz Allen Hamilton Eyes Cybersecurity Acquisitions

Dahlquist re-joins Booz Allen as the company pursues organic growth as well as acquisitions in the cybersecurity market.

Indeed, Booz Allen CEO Horacio Rozanski in January 2022 said his company plans to use up to $4.5 billion on "strategic acquisitions" between April 2022 and March 2025.

M&A is familiar territory for the company. Booz Allen in 2021 acquired digital forensics and incident response company Tracepoint and Liberty IT Solutions, a Salesforce government cloud partner.

Booz Allen is one of the world's largest cybersecurity providers. It offers cyber defense solutions and platforms to global organizations.
