Cymulate, an extended security posture management (XSPM) platform provider, has appointed Federica Melis as its SVP of global channels and partner alliances and Rudy Piekarski as its VP of sales for North America. Melis and Pierkarski will help Cymulate expand its customer base, the company said.

Melis previously held senior roles at Proofpoint and other cybersecurity companies. She also has held positions at Oracle, Citrix, Red Hat and other globally recognized technology providers.

Pierkarski has over 25 years of sales experience. He most recently served as VP of sales for Americas at LogRhythm, a security information and event management (SIEM) platform provider.

Cymulate Launches Co-Managed Solution

The Melis and Piekarski hires come after Cymulate in February 2022 announced Amplify, a co-managed solution and security assurance program.

Amplify provides organizations with access to a security advisor, Cymulate stated. Organizations can work with the advisor to learn how to use Cymulate's platform and use it to optimize their networks' security posture.

Furthermore, Amplify allows organizations to assess their security posture, Cymulate noted. That way, organizations can use Amplify to establish security baselines and protect against cyberattacks.

What Does the Future Hold for Cymulate?

Cymulate "continues to experience exceptional growth," the company indicated. The company recorded 100 percent revenue growth globally and 200 percent growth in North America in new bookings in 2021. It also increased its global workforce by 150 percent.

Organizations can use Cymulate's platform to measure operational efficiency and minimize risk exposure based on real-time data, the company said. The platform offers breach and attack simulation, automated red teaming and other XSPM capabilities.

MSSPs can join Cymulate's partner program to integrate the company's platform into their offerings. The program lets MSSPs use Cymulate's platform to monitor customers' security posture and find ways to improve it.
