Amazon has unveiled the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Hub, which provides end users with high-priority security alerts and compliance status notifications across their AWS accounts. - Aggregated Security Findings: Collects and prioritizes security findings across AWS accounts and partner tools.
- Automated Compliance Checks: Runs automated, continuous account-level configuration and compliance checks based on industry standards and best practices.
- Custom or Preconfigured Security Insights: Allows users to create custom security insights or group various security findings together to highlight emerging trends or possible issues.
- Integrated Dashboards: Help users identify security trends and potential issues.
- Standardized Findings Format: Uses a standardized findings format to help users avoid data parsing.
- Amazon GuardDuty: Threat detection service that monitors for malicious or unauthorized behavior across AWS accounts.
- Amazon Inspector: Automated security assessment service designed to improve AWS application security and compliance.
- Amazon Macie: Security service that leverages machine learning to discover, classify and protect sensitive data in AWS.
