Arctic Wolf Networks (AWN), a security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) provider, has integrated its AWN CyberSOC solution into the ConnectWise business management software suite.

With the AWN CyberSOC-ConnectWise integration, managed service providers (MSPs) can automate the notification and assignment of ticketed security incidents to the ConnectWise Manage account management software, according to AWN. The integration also enables MSPs to leverage agent assignment and routing rules to improve the notification and remediation process for security incidents, AWN stated, and eliminate manual ticketing processes.

In addition, the AWN CyberSOC-ConnectWise integration helps MSPs scale their businesses and increase their profitability, AWN co-founder Brian NeSmith said in a prepared statement. The integration empowers MSPs with a combination of cybersecurity and business management services, NeSmith noted, to help these service providers centralize their customer management and automate their internal workflows.

AWN will showcase its AWN CyberSOC-ConnectWise integration at this year's IT Nation event, which kicks off tomorrow in Orlando, Florida.

What Is AWN CyberSOC?

Twitter:

AWN CyberSOC is an SOCaaS solution designed to help MSPs "eliminate the noise" in IT environments, NeSmith told MSSP Alert. The solution offers a variety of features, including:

  • Behavioral analytics.
  • Log analysis with machine learning.
  • Managed detection and response (MDR).
  • Real-time alerting.
  • Vulnerability scanning.

AWN CyberSOC removes the need to build an SOC, NeSmith indicated, and allows AWN's MSP partners to immediately start generating monthly recurring revenue.

Also, AWN CyberSOC is backed by concierge security engineers (CSEs) who act as trusted IT security advisors.

Each MSP is assigned a CSE who proactively hunts for cyber threats, performs remote forensics analysis of security incidents and provides guidance to help remediate incidents, according to AWN. As such, a CSE serves as an extension of an MSP's internal IT team.

AWN Now Offers Its SOCaaS Solution to Splunk Enterprise Customers

AWN in September extended AWN CyberSOC to Splunk Enterprise customers, the company said in a prepared statement. By doing so, Splunk Enterprise customers now can use AWN CyberSOC to gain tactical and strategic insights for threat detection and incident response.

Meanwhile, AWN continues to explore MSP partnership opportunities.

AWN launched its MSP partner program in August, and to date, has partnered with 27 MSPs. The company hopes to partner with 50 MSPs by the end of the year, NeSmith said.
