Share

Pax8 has integrated the Blackpoint Cyber managed detection and response (MDR) technology into the Pax8 Marketplace, the companies announced this week.

MSPs will be able to access Blackpoint Cyber's cloud products on the Pax8 Marketplace in November 2023.

What the Pax8-Blackpoint Cyber Partnership Means for MSPs

Pax8 is providing MSPs with access to an ecosystem "that detects, isolates and eradicates even the most sophisticated threats while responding to the most malicious incidents round the clock, 365 days a year," the company stated.

MSPs can use the Pax8 Marketplace to deliver Blackpoint Response, which delivers "comprehensive coverage for consumers while simplifying security management for MSPs," the companies noted. They can utilize Blackpoint Response to scale their businesses while Blackpoint handles the complex security backend.

In addition, Pax8 provides its Blackpoint Cloud Response cloud security product via the Pax8 Marketplace, the companies indicated. Blackpoint Cloud Response is available both as a standalone solution and as part of the Response bundle and offers flexible options to meet the cybersecurity needs of any business.

How MSPs Can Use the Pax8 Marketplace

The Pax8 Marketplace lets MSPs "quote, order, bill and provision cloud products in one place — all with one monthly bill," according to Pax8. It consists of over 30,000 resellers, 400,000 small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and 10 million users and includes solutions across the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity access to compliance frameworks, on-demand content and security vendor training
  • Continuity solutions that MSPs can use to protect customers' data and minimize downtime
  • Infrastructure solutions that MSPs can utilize to build and grow their cloud businesses.

To date, Pax8 has cloud-enabled more than 300,000 enterprises through its channel partners and processes one million monthly transactions, the company stated. It also has partnered with CrowdStrike, Splashtop and other cybersecurity and technology providers and delivers hundreds of cloud products through its marketplace.
