GuidePoint Security, an MSSP that offers virtual security operations center (vSOC) branded managed security services, has integrated the Kenna Security predictive cyber risk platform into its vulnerability management offering.
The integration enables GuidePoint customers to leverage Kenna's automated cyber risk analysis to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, according to a prepared statement.
GuidePoint plans to resell and integrate the Kenna software-as-a-service (SaaS) security platform with vSOC Identify VM, its vulnerability management managed security service, the company said. By doing so, GuidePoint will deliver SaaS-based vulnerability management and cyber risk management services to defend its customers against cyberattacks.
In addition, the Kenna integration ensures GuidePoint customers can quickly analyze volumetric threat, exploit and vulnerability data and determine where to focus their resources, GuidePoint Practice Lead Don Morash stated. It also enables GuidePoint to provide real-time cyber risk guidance.

Kenna offers the Kenna Security Platform, a cloud-based offering designed to help security and IT operations teams manage cyber risk. The Kenna Security Platform continuously analyzes vulnerabilities in real-time and prioritizes their remediation via predictive risk modeling.
The Kenna Security Platform also applies machine learning to 2 billion vulnerabilities and scales elastically, the company said. It supports all enterprise data sources to provide a risk-based view, Kenna stated, and offers credible validation for remediation.
Kenna Adds Cyber Risk Specialist to Its Leadership Team
Kenna, meanwhile, is building out its partner program. The company this month added predictive cyber risk specialist Timothy Sadler as its VP of global sales and field operations. Sadler previously held leadership roles at Tanium, Exabeam, Menlo Security, FireEye and IronPort.
At Kenna, Sadler is expected to help launch an enhanced channel partner program, the company indicated. He also is responsible for the integration and alignment of Kenna's revenue-related business functions, including sales, sales operations, customer success and revenue management.
