Kaspersky Lab Adds Endpoint Security for Macs, MSP Cloud Capabilities

Share

Kaspersky Lab, the Russian-based cybersecurity and antivirus solutions provider, has updated its Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud multi-tenant console to provide corporate Macs with cloud-based, multi-layered protection, the company says.

Corporate Mac users now can receive multi-layered anti-malware and web protection, configure scan exclusions and optimize computer resource usage via Endpoint Security Cloud, the company said. In addition, the update enables MSPs to manage multiple MacOS and Windows workstations, mobile devices and file servers remotely via a cloud-based console, the company noted.

MSPs can use Endpoint Security Cloud to assign several administrators to manage IT security, and access a built-in dashboard that includes a list of companies, number of devices, available licenses and license duration dates. The new offering is available globally.

MSP Software Integrations

Kaspersky has been piecing together its MSP software strategy for several years. Most recently, the company in May completed the integration and certification of its Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business suite of cloud and on-premises cybersecurity solutions with ConnectWise Manage for remote monitoring and management (RMM) and ConnectWise Automate for professional services automation (PSA).

The ConnectWise integrations provide Kaspersky's MSP partners with management and monitoring via the ConnectWise console, streamlined administration of customer accounts and automated billing and reporting.

The Kaspersky Security Integration Plugin that links to ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate is available in the ConnectWise Marketplace.

Kaspersky has a formalized MSP Partner Program. to help MSPs growth their managed security practices.

The partner program features:

  • Monthly subscription licensing.
  • Multi-tenant capabilities.
  • Sales and technical training.

Kaspersky launched its MSP Partner Program in April. Today, the program allows MSPs to offer remote security monitoring, virtualization security and other security services to customers, the company says.

The latest MSP and Mac push comes as the company battles allegations that it's aligned with Russia's government -- a claim the security firm has repeatedly denied.
