Kudelski Security, the cybersecurity division of digital security and converged media solutions provider Kudelski Group, has released the FusionDetect cloud-native analytics platform for its managed detection and response (MDR) services.

FusionDetect helps organizations streamline their security processes and technologies, Kudelski Security CEO Andrew Howard said. It also allows organizations to use Kudelski Security's MDR services with no upfront costs.

FusionDetect uses Kudelski Security's use-case framework and is mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework, the company noted. It empowers Kudelski Security's detection engineering team to work with organizations to develop a threat model specific to their operations and determine which threat detection scenarios to prioritize.

Organizations can use FusionDetect to ingest, normalize, enrich and correlate relevant security data from their infrastructure, Kudelski Security indicated. FusionDetect collects and stores these data at scale to help organizations hunt for cyber threats, perform security investigations and meet regulatory compliance requirements.

In addition, FusionDetect enables organizations to collect security data from IT, endpoint, cloud and other sources, Kudelski Security said. FusionDetect also allows organizations to deploy MDR services without a security information and event management (SIEM) tool.

Kudelski Security Delivers MDR One, Unveils Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Integration

The FusionDetect launch comes after Kudelski Security in April 2022 released its MDR One solution. Organizations can use MDR One to monitor their on-premise IT infrastructure and cloud environments, evaluate cyber threats and review cybersecurity metrics and insights, the company said.

Previously, Kudelski Security in November 2021 integrated Microsoft Defender for Endpoint into its MDR services. The integration lets organizations ingest endpoint data from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint-protected devices and monitor their IT environments, hunt for threats and remediate cyberattacks, the company stated.

Kudelski Security offers MDR, managed vulnerability scanning, security device management and other managed security services. It also provides a partner program for MSSPs and MSPs.
