LogRhythm has integrated its security information and event management (SIEM) product with the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform to "provide unparalleled visibility and security to facilitate a modern zero trust architecture," according to a prepared statement.

Commenting on the integration, Amit Raikar, vice president of Technology Partnerships at Zscaler, said:

"Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange reduces the attack surface and enforces cybersecurity policies, and this new integration with LogRhythm can help security teams with richer insights. By leveraging Zscaler APIs for cloud-to-cloud log streaming, LogRhythm customers can gather threat and policy telemetry across a hybrid workforce accessing multicloud and SaaS applications, giving analysts a complete picture from the depth of information in Zsacler logs for optimal threat hunting and investigations."

The LogRhythm-Zscaler integration provides visibility into an organization's network activities and the websites and cloud-based resources that its employees are using, the companies said. It lets organizations use a single console to investigate and block suspicious website access. In addition, the integration allows organizations to detect unwanted or denylisted URLs.

LogRhythm Brings New Innovations to Market Every 90 Days

The Zscaler integration announcement comes after LogRhythm in April 2023 updated its security operations portfolio to help security teams "reduce noise, prioritize work and quickly secure their environments," the company said. This marked the fourth consecutive quarter in which LogRhythm upgraded its portfolio.

LogRhythm's security operations portfolio updates extended across its SIEM, network detection and response (NDR) and cloud-native SaaS products, the company said. Furthermore, LogRhythm unveiled the Unlimited Upgrades Service backed by its professional services team to help its customers upgrade to every quarterly SIEM release.
