Share

Mission, a Top 200 Public Cloud MSP, has launched the Mission MDR (managed detection and response) service in combination with Alert Logic.

Organizations can use Mission MDR across their Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, according to Mission. The service offers:

  • 30-minute SLAs for identification and notification of security issues
  • Best-practice guidance to help organizations combat current and emerging cyber threats
  • Compliance reporting for PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, SOC-2, SOX 404 and GDPR
  • Threat assessment and remediation
  • Vulnerability and security incident insights

In addition, organizations can customize Mission MDR based on their AWS deployment, industry compliance requirements and security exposure, Mission indicated. This ensures that organizations can use Mission MDR to quickly identify and proactively respond to threats and avoid compliance penalties.

Mission is an AWS managed cloud services provider that offers cloud consulting, management and migration services. The company helps organizations develop and run AWS applications and optimize their AWS spend.

Furthermore, Mission was named to this year's Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Mission also raised $15 million in private equity funding and lined up an $8 million line of credit last year.

Alert Logic Unveils Partner Program for MSPs

The Mission MDR announcement comes after Alert Logic last month began offering its Partner Connect program to MSPs.

MSPs can join Partner Connect to access security analysts who perform security operations center (SOC) and network operations center (NOC) monitoring and management, Alert Logic said. They also can leverage security consultations and tools that can be embedded into managed services and used to assess their customers’ security posture.
