Stealth-ISS Group Inc., ranked No. 201 on MSSP Alert’s 2022 Top 250 MSSPs list, is a woman-, service disabled- and veteran-owned small business (SDVO) founded in 2002 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

The company also has offices in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Slovakia. Dasha Deckwerth is the company’s founder and president, while Robert Davis serves as chief executive officer.

Company Founder is U.S. Cyber Warfare Veteran

Deckwerth is an expert in cybersecurity operations and delivery, as well as a U.S. veteran. With more than 25 years of experience as a technology professional, she has led key cybersecurity initiatives within the government and civilian sectors, providing IT security and cyber warfare services to NATO, various U.S., European Union and Asian government agencies, as well as multiple global commercial clients.

Deckwerth has designed and implemented security operations centers (SOCs), incident response teams, and delivered security consulting and regulatory compliance/ISO audits across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Deckwerth explained Stealth-ISS Group’s founding and evolution:

“Our business was founded with a focus on cyber risk and compliance, and we have been doing that, and cybersecurity only, since day one. Over the years we have developed cybersecurity talent as a service and became an MSSP with a US-based 24/7 SOC and incident response capability. We have a commercial, federal and state/local/education practice, and have been continuously adding new services and practices to our portfolio to keep up with ever changing regulatory requirements and threats.”

With more than 25 years of experience in business strategy, technology and IT security, predominantly in global financial services, Davies helped the company land on the Inc. 500 list (2018 and 2019), and the VET100 list (2019 and 2020). Today, he leads a company of 23 people, 17 of whom are focused fulltime on cybersecurity.

Growing the Business

As for Stealth-ISS Group’s smartest business moves of 2022, Davies noted expanded partnerships and developing a more robust channel program focusing on MSPS — without any upfront costs or risks. As he explained:

“We have formed several great partnerships with technology companies that have products that meet today and future risks. We are continuously developing and partnering with new tech companies to be able to deliver not just more services but also the correct sized and budget appropriate services to our clients."

Looing to the company’s key priorities for 2023, Deckwerth and Davies point to:

  • Focusing on midsize partnerships and collaborations
  • Expanding services and collaboration with MSPs
  • Continuing to work on smart city projects worldwide with focus on security and data privacy
