Red Cloak TDR's 24/7 service helps organizations scale their security expertise and combat cyber threats, according to Secureworks. In doing so, the service enables organizations to accelerate threat detection, response and remediation.
The 24/7 service for Red Cloak TDR is now available. Also, Secureworks is showcasing its updated version of Red Cloak TDR at this week's Black Hat USA conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A Closer Look at Red Cloak TDR
Red Cloak TDR is a managed detection and response (MDR) offering designed to help organizations identify cyber threats that typically go undetected by traditional security solutions, Secureworks noted. It uses insights from incident response engagements to provide continuously updated threat intelligence and analytics that enables organizations to recognize malicious activity.
In addition, Red Cloak TDR analyzes data from IT environments and applies advanced analytics and threat intelligence, Secureworks said. It then alerts end users if it identifies suspicious activity that requires attention.
Secureworks Encounters Business Challenges
The Red Cloak TDR 24/7 service announcement comes after Secureworks recently revealed it has been dealing with a shrinking average deal size. Secureworks now projects fiscal 2020 revenue of $535 million to $545 million, down from an earlier forecast of $565 million to $575 million.
However, Secureworks recorded total revenue of $132.8 million in the fiscal first quarter of 2020, up 5.3 percent year over year. The MSSP also reported a GAAP net loss of $8.3 million during the time frame, compared to $13.8 million one year earlier.
