Todyl, a company that provides the Secure Global Network (SGN) security and networking platform to MSPs and MSSPs, has raised $2.25 million in a seed funding round that included investments from venture capital firms TechOperators and Blu Venture Investors. The seed funding supports the development and expansion of SGN and will help Todyl explore ways to expand its market presence, according to a prepared statement.
Furthermore, Todyl has opened a new office in Denver, Colorado. Todyl also is immediately hiring new team members for its Denver office.
MSPs and MSSPs can use SGN to securely connect customer devices, clouds and offices via a zero-trust, cloud-native platform with integrated network security and security information and event management (SIEM) capabilities, Todyl indicated. In doing so, MSPs and MSSPs can protect organizations against compromised devices on untrusted networks, secure internal traffic and stop the spread of malware and other cyberattacks.
Todyl also offers a partner program that allows MSPs and MSSPs to white-label SGN. The program provides MSPs and MSSPs with access to co-branded marketing collateral, usage-based pricing and technical resources.
A Closer Look at SGN
SGN consolidates multiple security products into a single platform, according to Todyl. The platform's security capabilities include:
- Content filtering
- Global firewall
- Intrusion detection
- Intrusion prevention
- Malware interception
In addition, SGN automatically connects to remote devices and office networks, Todyl indicated. SGN also provides global points of presence (PoPs) that allow organizations to operate securely during ISP outages, hardware failures and natural disasters.
