Capgemini, a Top 100 MSSP for 2018, has opened a security operations center (SOC) in Columbia, South Carolina. The Columbia SOC represents Capgemini's first multi-tenant SOC in North America and tenth within its worldwide security network, the company says.The Columbia SOC specializes in cloud services and industrial systems, according to a prepared statement. It supports Capgemini's managed security services delivery capabilities and will work alongside various specialist partners.Furthermore, the Columbia SOC will help Capgemini simultaneously protect customer data, assets and identities and drive business innovation and transformation, the company said. It also supports Capgemini's commitment to offering digital strategy, cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), customer experience innovation and other technologies to global organizations.Analytics. Incident response. Risk management. Security monitoring. Threat detection. Organizations can use Capgemini's global SOCs to identify and prevent cyberattacks, the company stated.
