Defendify Raises Funding, Seeks MSSPs for SMB Cybersecurity Services
Defendify, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) cybersecurity platform provider, has raised $1.6 million in pre-seed funding led by private investors. The company will use the funding to expand its cybersecurity platform for small businesses.
Defendify offers an “all-in-one cybersecurity platform,” the company indicated. Channel partners can leverage Defendify’s platform to provide small businesses with insights into their security posture. A partner program designed for MSSPs (managed security services providers), MSPs and VARs apparently has already launched.
Defendify’s cybersecurity platform features a dashboard that provides the following cybersecurity insights:
- Health Grade: Shows how a small business can improve its security posture.
- Reports: Offers insights into security improvement areas.
- Recommendations: Provides actionable steps to help a small business combat cyber threats.
Defendify’s cybersecurity platform provides multiple layers of ongoing protection against cyberattacks, the company noted. It also scales as small businesses grow to help these businesses keep pace with evolving cyber threats.
Cylus, Cyber Observer Add Funding
In addition to Defendify, Israeli cybersecurity startup Cylus this month raised $12 million in Series A venture funding. Cylus will use the funding to extend its reach across the railroad cybersecurity market.
Also, Israeli security management software provider Cyber Observer this month secured $8 million in Series B funding. Cyber Observer will use the funding to grow its North American operations and expand its sales and engineering teams.
